When we asked clients what they would like our events programme to focus on in 2022/23, one of the largest responses was ‘Governance across Partnerships’.
We have teamed up with Audit Yorkshire and the Good Governance Institute to bring you this very special event asking the important questions.
NHS organisations are now involved in multiple formal partnerships – Statutory ICP committee, ICB Governing Body, Co-operation between NHS organisations ICS wide (often co-ordinated by the ICB), Provider Collaboratives, Place-based partnerships and PCNs, as well as many less formal partnerships. It is therefore vital that each organisation’s own governance systems, processes and structures support and complement those of their partners to avoid unnecessary bureaucracy and duplication of effort.
This event examines two fundamental aspects of governance: ‘Establishing objectives’ and ‘Risk management’ and considers how they can be best achieved across partner organisations with different aims, performance targets, pressures and financial incentives.
A large number of clients fed back to us that they would like to network in person again, perhaps not for all events, but particularly for ones focused on partnership and which bring together Board members from a range of organisations. We are therefore putting on this event at Doncaster Racecourse and look forward to seeing a number of you there. We recognise the changed ways of working and current expectations, so are working closely with the venue to ensure that you have access to alternative spaces away from the main event room where you can take calls or log into virtual meetings should you need to.
The final line up of speakers and agenda will be confirmed shortly but please book your place using the booking form below. There are two separate options for in person attendance and virtual attendance, but bookings are currently being taken for in person attendance only.
