Clinical Quality

360 Assurance has responded to the evolution of assurance needs in the health and social care sector through employment of staff from a variety of clinical and non-clinical backgrounds, who specialise in the structures and requirements of health and social care organisations. We also have a specific Clinical Quality team whose primary focus is on supporting clients to continuously improve the quality of the care and treatment they provide to patients and service users.

As well as being able to offer consultancy, advice, internal audit and training specifically in areas focusing on the quality of services, we continually strive to consider issues around clinical quality on a regional or national scale, involving ourselves in multi-agency working groups and initiatives as much as possible in order to represent the needs of our clients and seek solutions to recurrent risks that we identify through our audit and consultancy work.

Part of our broader work includes facilitation of regional forums which enable members to network, share best practice and ideas, undergo peer supervision, receive up-to-date information on changes to national inspection/regulation processes, hear expert speakers and influence regional practice. The current regular forums in operation are:

  • Quality Assurance Forum: NHS Providers & Commissioners – open to quality/compliance leads from NHS Provider organisations in the East Midlands or South Yorkshire.
  • Quality Committee NED Members’ Forum: NHS Providers – open to Non-Executive Director members of Quality Committees (Board sub-committees) from NHS Provider organisations in the East Midlands or South Yorkshire.

If you would like further details on any of these forums or any of the services available from the Clinical Quality team, please contact Elaine Dower (0115 883 5313/ 07342 081522
